Six years ago Luis Fred joined the faculty of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music. As a music educator he has always searched for activities in which students can hone their skills as future performers and educators. These new initiatives include a yearly series of out-reach concerts in various music high schools and community centers around the island of Puerto Rico. For example, Mr. Fred continually brings performers and educators of the highest caliber to the island to inspire a new generation of trombonists.
